TUI has added a further 600 hotels to its 2020 programme, available to book now with low deposits from just €75

  • TUI’s earliest summer holiday launch has already seen many Irish customers book holidays well over a year ahead
  • Following an initial launch in November, five months earlier than usual – TUI has launched a further 600 hotels to its 2020 programme on April 25th
  • Mid-Haul hotspots have made up more than 60% of bookings
  • Families are taking advantage of early booking offers, availing of free child’s places and low deposits’

Eager Irish customers in search of summer sun have already booked their summer 2020 holiday, planning to take advantage of early booking offers such as free child places, low booking deposits and to secure their preferred hotel, airport and destination.

TUI launched its summer 2020 programme five months earlier than usual last November as a response to consumer behaviour, with more customers wanting to book earlier – especially families. TUI has now added over a further 600 hotels to its 2020 programme, including even more hotels with free child places and available to book with low deposits from €75.

Mid haul hotspots have made up around 60% of bookings with Irish favourites Turkey and the Canaries, as well as the Greek Islands and Bulgaria topping the charts.

Also proving popular are the family friendly resorts offered by TUI such as Holiday Village, TUI Family Life and Splashworld concepts all featuring amongst the top performing hotels with almost 40% of bookings made to these hotels which are exclusive to TUI in Ireland.

Almost 15% of TUI bookings have been for hotels that are part of the 5T platinum range – allowing customers to pay over time to enjoy their luxurious 2020 getaway.

Mexico’s Caribbean Coast is also in demand with Irish customers for next summer –  TUI’s direct programme from Dublin is flying for a 5th consecutive year. The destination offers a huge choice of 4 and 5-star hotels and is a weddings and honeymoons favourite.

TUI launched early knowing there was a demand in the market ready to book in advance.
