Following the launch of their weddings programme in Mexico & Jamaica, Falcon and Thomson are delighted to extend their offering for summer 2017, to include an additional five destinations. Those looking to wed abroad now have the choice of seven destinations which include; Mexico, Jamaica, the Greek islands of Rhodes, Kos and Corfu and the Spanish Balearic islands of Majorca and Ibiza.  Not only do Falcon and Thomson offer couples the choice of a garden, beach, terrace or poolside wedding ceremony, many properties offer a complimentary basic ceremony with others offering packages for a fee”.

Mexico

Cancun has everything you could want from a wedding destination including candlelit dinners, amazing white sand beaches and buzzing nightclubs.

The Sensatori Resort Mexico offers the ‘Always & Forever’ package for a symbolic ceremony. Couples have the choice of tying the knot on the beach looking out to sea or on the rooftop of the hotel. A ‘Memorable Moments’ upgrade can be added to the ‘Always and Forever’ package. These collections add all of the finishing touches such as signature welcome cocktails, a shaded wedding lounge and themed food and drink making it a wedding not to forget.

Greece:

Romance is around every corner in this country of myth, legend & superb food. For a touch of history, Rhodes is top of the list and for those looking to let their hair down, the Greek islands of Corfu and Kos  offer the best party spots..

  • Rhodes

If you like the idea of stepping back in time, Rhodes should be top of your list. The old town is a World Heritage Site and one of the finest medieval citadels in existence. Rhodes also boasts the best sunshine record of all the Greek Islands, meaning you have less chance to gamble with the weather! The Holiday Village Rhodes offers a civil wedding package priced from €1,780 that would be the perfect location for a family wedding.

  • Kos

Kick off the celebrations with a bang in Kos, the party capital of Greece. Kos Town is the liveliest spot on the island, however couples could also look to Kardamena and Lambi as the perfect alternative.

The Family Life Blue Lagoon Village offers ceremonies on the beach or on the hotel’s terrace. The civil wedding bronze standard package is priced from €1,685.

  • Corfu

Take one look at Corfu and you’ll see olive-cloaked hills, huge vineyards and cypress trees providing the perfect big day backdrop. Beautiful golden sand beaches spread throughout the stunning landscape, while in the capital Corfu Town, winding streets are lined with pretty churches and art museums.

Majorca

Famously referred to as the ‘Jewel of the Med’ due to its good looks, Majorca is a natural choice for an island wedding. Ceremonies here begin on sandy beaches, located in the gardens of country mansions and chic marinas with ocean views.

Ibiza

Packages

Many of the above basic packages include a decoration set up for the ceremony, registrar fees, a delicious wedding cake, two glasses of sparkling wine, bridal bouquet, recorded music/CD for the ceremony,  matching groom boutonniere, a semi-private candlelit dinner for two and, of course, the all-important marriage certificate. However Majorca and Ibiza, can only offer symbolic ceremonies currently.

Receptions

Wedding receptions aren’t included in the package, allowing for a more prescriptive choice among couples when choosing how to celebrate their special day. Those looking for some added luxury can choose to upgrade to additional wedding packages on offer at each of the hotels.
